The most important component to any build is of course the GPU, but that doesn't mean that the other components are worthless. They all play their roles to keep the GPU fed with data.
1.) Intel Core i7 6700 quad-core Processor
-Intels latest i7 CPU is, as you can guess, quite a beast. Part of the Skylake family line of i7 CPUs, it features 4 cores (with hyperthreading, making 8 threads in total) running at a stock clock speed of 3.4 Ghz (4.0 Ghz max turbo boost) along with 8MB of cache memory, and uses 65 watts of power. Web browsing and other casual activities will be very responsive with any quad-core CPU, with this one being especially fast. The i7 6700 is pretty much the best you can do for gaming at this time, unless you crave the power for a more powerful (and far more expensive) 6-core Intel processor.

-The 970Z features a Nvidia high end GPU, the GTX 970. This GPU is based on Nvidia's "Maxwell" architecture and features 1664 cores. It also features memory bandwidth speeds of 224 GB/s, can output around 3.49 TFLOPS, comes with 4GBs of DDR5 memory on a 256-bit bus, and is clocked at 1050 Mhz (1178 Mhz with boost). Using this GPU to game with will be a pleasant experience, given that it produces pretty high frame rates in high resolutions. This GPU should last for another few years at 1080p.
-What makes DDR4 memory different from DDR3 is 2 key improvements, data tranfer speeds and power consuption, all thanks to new bus technology. With transfer speeds starting at 2133 Mhz, the maximum speed of DDR3 memory, DDR4 is said to be able to go all the way up top 4266 Mhz. This is the new standard of memory, so its good to see that the 970Z is carrying the some of the latest memory tech, 16GB of it at that.
4.) 1TB 7200 RPM Hardrive
-Even though this system doesn't come with an SSD, it does feature a nicely sized HDD to make up for it. With PC games becoming so large in size {30-60 gigs apiece}, your going to need this amount space to house them plus your videos, photos, apps and data. Its just big enough to give you a little head room when deciding just what you want to keep on your HDD. Plus, you could always add an SSD to this system at a later time.
5.) Windows 10 64-bit
-With the 970Z, your getting a copy of Windows 10 with the system. Without a Windows operating system, you could not play 75-80% of the games that are available, not to mention being locked out from using the plethora of apps that is available for the platform. Its pretty much a must have if you plan to game on your PC.
-The 970Z also comes with a 24x Sata dual layer DVD-RW, a built-in wireless network card, plenty of expansion slots and USB slots (3.0 and 2.0), 7.1 audio, and a Corsair 600w PSU. The gaming quality keyboard and mouse also help bring the aesthetics of the case around, all the while featuring a 1-year labor and parts warranty. This is a complete system that is ready to game the moment you get it set-up.

II. PERFORMANCE
-This will give you an idea about how much performance you can expect to get out of this system from 4 recently released games. These benchmarks will show you just how many frames this system can pump out and at what type of settings you could play on decently enough. Remember that 30 fps and up provides a smooth experience, with higher frames giving smoother gameplay. Every game differs in requirements with the most demanding games requiring more powerful hardware to run at full settings.

This system can play some of the most demanding games at 1080p without even breaking a sweat, keeping above 50 fps in all of the tested titles. Only when pushing a higher resolution of 2560X1440 did the card finally begin to stress, but still provided very playable frame-rates. But in 4K the card started to really struggle. If your looking for a system to last you a few years, then the 970Z is the one for you.
III. CONCLUSION
Pros: Pretty powerful high-end system that would serve greatly to those who are new to PC gaming or who do not mind gaming in 1080p and 1440p on ultra settings.
Cons: The performance of this system, while great, is still lacking the power to run current games fluently at higher resolutions than 1440p, especially if you desire playable frame-rates in 4K or higher resolutions.
The 970Z is a good choice if you want a powerful high-end system that will give you blazing performance in 1080p and decent performance in 1440p at ultra settings.
