The most important component to any build is of course the GPU, but that doesn't mean that the other components are worthless. They all play their roles to keep the GPU fed with data.

-This mobile Intel processor is a high-end model based on its "Skylake" architecture featuring 4 cores (with hyperthreading for a total of 8 threads) with 6 MB of L3 cache. While its base clock-speed is 2.6 GHZ, it can turbo up to 3.6 GHZ. However, when playing games, that turbo is more like 3.4-3.5 ghz on all cores, which is still a nice bump in speed.
